It was ironic that Jacques did not enjoy their voyage in the sea. He has incessant seasickness. Frank, on the other hand, developed a passion for boating. In 1900, he obtained his first boat and became interested in the sport. He had a motor launch called Gromoboi. Years after, his interest and passion grew and he became one of the founding members of Motor Boat Club (Royal Motor Yacht Club).

Frank inspired many from his passion for boating until now. It is one of the best recreational activities and sports.
