Martha Stewarts Grandkids suches as Caviar

There's no ifs, ands or buts about it: Martha Stewart likes her function as grandma!

The domestic queen as soon as again hosted a joint birthday celebration for granddaughter Jude, 3, and grandson Truman, 2, whose birthdays are 2 days apart.

"We had a huge celebration! And it was a Chicka Chicka Boom Boom party. They had 170 people," she informed PEOPLE at the New York Observer redesign celebration in New York on Tuesday night.

"They like great food! They like mushrooms. They like caviar.".

One thing missing out on from their diets, however, is sweets. "They're not allowed to have sugar or butter so I need to temper my fondness for those things," she describes.

Naturally, the toddlers currently have a head start on the education front. Stewart reveals that Jude is well on her way to being trilingual.

"The little woman is a genius speaking English and spanish [and] she's entering into Mandarin now. She's a linguist," she says. "And the little child is very great in Spanish ?? really fluent!".

Stewart adds they're not simply brainiacs in training. They also have other abilities. "She's a professional dancer and an actor and a musician," she informs PEOPLE. "And he likes trucks. He can recognize virtually any vehicle on the road.".

And as for whether she's delighting in being a doting grandma to child Alexis's children? "Totally, entirely, absolutely!".
