The fact of the matter is these people have done their homework and taken their experiences and know where to find the big lunkers. Bass will grow for their entire life. However if they are in the right areas to get their big meals they will turn into the lunkers we know as trophy bass.

The bass want shallow water for spawning and for feeding. Then they move into deeper water to hide and to get away from bad weater when they arent interested.

A great way to find the big old bass is using a good fish finder. One that has temperature would be an idea use. You can use this to find the warmer water that would be expected to hold trophy bass. You can also spot the bait fish on your finder as well. So now you have the warm water and you have the bait fish. Now you just need to look for a bit of a happy medium in between both and you in many situations will find yourself sitting on a honey hole.

Catching a fish is one thing but catching a monster trophy bass is just out of this world. It is almost like a high that you will want to always chase because you will need bigger fish to duplicate the feeling. It is about the best high anyone could ever choose to have. The fact of the matter is if you keep on fishing and doing your homework eventually you will be that lucky one hooking into a big bass.
