You do not "get out" glow sticks, as there is nothing to get out. Glow sticks are single-use, self-contained chemical light sources that activate when a glass capsule inside is broken, mixing two chemicals together. This reaction produces light without any external power source. Once activated, the chemical reaction continues until all of the chemicals are consumed, at which point the glow stick will dim and eventually stop emitting light.
